If you’re making a Batman game set in the Arkhamverse, there’s a bunch of stuff that you have to have in that game. A Batman for starters, decent villains, wonderful toys and Riddler trophies. They’ve been a trademark part of all the Arkham games so far. And you’ll be hunting them down as usual in Arkham Knight. Just not that many of them this time. SWEET JEBUS, THANK YOU.
I managed to hunt down all of those trophies in the original Batman: Arkham Asylum game. I pretty much gave up halfway through Arkham City however, as that game had 440 of them to find and I’d discovered that I was forming some sort of aversion to natural sunlight after being cooped up in my room for so long while I tried to catch ‘em all.
According to Rocksteady Creative Director Sefton Hill however, Arkham Knight will have a far more manageable 243 of the trophies to go after. Because I’m naturally attracted to their glowing green luminescence. I think there may be something wrong with me.
Clue: Riddler has focused on quality over quantity. These are his most devious and cunning brain teasers ever.

We have a Riddler teaser winner. The answer is 243 and @Morbiterorbiter got it bang on and fastest. Good work!

THAT’S A LOT OF TROPHIES! Arkham City had a Riddler Trophy hunt that was essentially a combination of brain and brawn. This year however, Rocksteady have teased that players will need to also adapt to using the Batmobile to figure out how to grab several trophies, as well as the increased arsenal of gadgets that the dark knight has stored away in his magical utility belt.
Sounds fun. Now close the curtains, I can only stand natural light for so long.
