Bad news everyone! It looks like we’re going to have to wait a bit longer for the upcoming FPS from Ubisoft, as the game has been delayed. Now before you grab the pitchforks and start marching towards Ubisoft with a hatred that burns harder than a million exploding suns, relax, as the delay isn’t that bad.
Originally scheduled for a September 7 release locally, Far Cry 3 will instead be pushing you into an explosive tiger barrel of madness on November 29th instead. So it’s an extra three month wait, that will most likely give Ubisoft some breathing space for Assassin’s Creed 3 in the process.
“We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience,” Ubisoft producer Dan Hay said in a press statement. “Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”
Interestingly enough, with that new release date, Far Cry 3 will be poised to take advantage of Christmas shopping, as it’s the final major release of the year. Polish or conspiracy, who knows?
Anyway, here’s a picture of a kitten that should sooth your burning anger.
