Sony

Sony is the last big name on the cards for today, and it kicks things off with a montage video of popular Sony characters, from Kratos to Ratchet and Clank, mixed in with some third-party love. With that pat on the back video finished, SCEEs Jim Ryan takes the stage.

“This a challenging and exciting time for our industry,” Ryan says. “Right across the spectrum, consumers now want to access their content any time, anywhere, across multiple devices.” AT this point, Ryan begins banging on about social networking, before an image of the PS Vita appears, prompting Ryan to exclaim that the handheld will be the most wanted device for Christmas this year.

Little Big Planet kicks off that Vita focus, as the new trailer reveals that the game will take advantage of the interaction controls of the Vita, and will be out September 19. But up next, is the upcoming beat ‘em all up. Playstation All-Stars Battle Royal, as numerous Playstation icons beat the tar out of each other, including Dante from DmC!

Anyone who purchases the Vita version of the game, will be eligible to download the full game on their PS3, as part of the new Cross-Buy feature.

PlayStation All-Stars will be available as part of Sony’s new ‘cross-buy’ feature. Customers who purchase the Vita edition can download the PS3 version free, and vice versa! This option will also be extended to other games such as a new Sly Cooper and Ratchet and Clank Q-Force titles.

And with that, it’s time for some footage of Assassin’s Creed Liberation and Call of Duty on the Vita.
