Claptrap

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is out this week. And we’re still looking for answers, beyond launch week. Fortunately, we managed to track someone from 2K Games down at rAge over the weekend. And we had questions. Lots of them. So grab some popcorn, throw on some wub wub music and prepare to gaze into the face of horror. Or my face to be precise.

Of course, there was one question we had to get answers to. A burning issue, that needed to be resolved. A mystery that was more important than the location of vaults, the secret of the sirens or Mr Torgue’s workout routine. We had to know how Claptrap was able to go over stairs in the Pre-Sequel. Fortunately, Erica Denning from 2K Games was on hand to answer all my questions.

Of course, we asked more than that in the interview. We spoke guns, we chatted about vehicles and the love/hate relationship between Handsome Jack, Claptrap and the rest of gang who happen to be up to various shenanigans on Elpis. The game is out right now in the states, where it’s currently sitting with a meta-score of 75.

You might have also noticed that our brand new Lazygamer handheld microphone is present, which means that any interviews done with it, are now also rather quite audible. It’s like you can actually hear what we’re saying for once! Magic! I just have to learn to not thrust the device into my face like I’m in a hotdog eating contest, and the audio should sound even better when I do interview the next on any upcoming trips.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is out this Friday on old-gen and PC. Essentially, if you dig Borderlands, you’ll dig this game. Which is reason enough for me to play it.

If he overcame his greatest enemy in The Pre-Sequel, then how’d he ‘under’come them in Borderlands 2?

You must play till the end of the Pre-Sequel to find out!

Maybe it’s because of the increased gravity or maybe Claptrap damages whatever gizmo he uses to climb stairs (no Youtube at work).

I’ll wait for the Game of the Year Edition that contains 90% of the DLC before making my purchase.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure the game is worth getting on day 1 but all the shiny DLC extras they will release later on puts me off.

The same would apply if I was going to get it on console.
I just prefer playing FPS with a keyboard and mouse.

Unless, we’re talking about the Ultimate/Definitive/Wub Wub/More Wub Wub Edition of The Pre-Sequel, released on PS4/XB1/PC. Because that’s so a thing o_O

I bet there are those who will get it on PS3/360, sans season pass, and then buy it on current(next)-gen with all/most of its DLC.
