Vision (2)

He may have only been born a day ago in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but there’s nothing naive about the Vision in that flick. Easily one of the best additions to the massive cast of new heroes, and an exception to the rule of genocide-hungry robots who want to punch your brain into extinction, the synthetic creation and evolution of J.A.R.V.I.S was fantastically translated onto the big screen. And he looks adorable as a sixth-scale figure.

Hot Toys have finally unveiled their latest Avenger, a 12” tall figure with more than 30 points of articulation and a cape that looks like it was based on the patterns of a Nelson Mandela shirt. Quick warning, as the photos below show Vision off with a rather spoiler-heavy weapon. Consider yourselves warned. Anyway, onto the figure specs:

Specifications

  • Height: Approximately 31.5cm tall
  • Points of Articulations: 30
  • Special Features: Newly developed head sculpt with detailed texture and Mind Stone, specially tailored costume and cape, Thor’s hammer Mjölnir, and a specially designed figure stand.
  • Artists: Head Sculpted by Kojun
  • Head Painted by JC. Hong
  • Head Art Directed by JC. Hong

The 1/6th scale Vision Collectible Figure specially features:

  • Authentic and detailed likeness of Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Newly developed head sculpt with movie-accurate facial features, detailed skin texture, and the Mind Stone
  • Specially applied metallic red-violet skin tone to reflect Vision’s distinctive appearance
  • Approximately 31.5 cm tall
  • Body with over 30 points of articulations
  • Eight (8) pieces of interchangeable palms including:
  • One (1) pair of fists
  • One (1) pair of relaxed palms
  • One (1) pair of open palms
  • Each piece of head sculpt is specially hand-painted

Costume:

  • One (1) teal coloured full body suit with texture and red-violet coloured highlights
  • One (1) yellow coloured cape with patterns and red-violet highlights
  • One (1) pair of red-violet and gold coloured gauntlets
  • One (1) pair of red-violet and gold coloured boots

Accessory:

  • Specially-designed figure stand with Vision nameplate and the movie logo

Vision will cost you $219.99. He’ll be released sometime between Q4 2015-Q1 2016 in case you’ve ever dreamt of owning your own Paul Bettany action figure, and then posing it next to a Heath Ledger Joker so that you can re-enact scenes from A Knight’s Tale.

  1. A Knight’s Tale….well Mark Addy was in GOT but no super hero movies.Alan Tudyk did a couple of Justice League voice overs but that doesn’t really count and Rufus Sewell was in one of my favourite Sci-Fi movies Dark City but no super hero movies :/

Yip, naming the spoiler in the comments section is certainly one way to make sure people don’t miss that spoiler ;). In fairness though it shouldn’t be a spoiler for most by now.

If it says spoiler in the article then people should probably assume the comments section is going to talk about said spoiler.

That being said… Comment ammended with [SPOILER] added

I appreciate the spoiler warning. I’ve had so many movies ruined because people don’t call spoilers before they write stuff. Pisses me off.

Indeed if one sees a spoiler and don’t wish to see it, then close article immediately. If they do then they only got themselves to blame for seeing those spoiler comments.
