PlayStation 4

It definitely doesn’t look like Sony is going to be taking any chances with their upcoming PlayStation 4 release – with the first price drop already appearing even before the console is released.

Amazon has dropped all their bundles prices by between R65 and R280 bringing you the opportunity to pick up a PlayStation 4 with a copy of Killzone: Shadow Fall, 2 dualshock controllers and a PlayStation eye for the exact same price as the Xbox One by itself.

The current bundles available according to videogamer.com are as follows

Bundle 1: PlayStation 4 + Killzone: Shadow Fall – £384.99 (Previously £389)
Bundle 2: PlayStation 4 + Watch Dogs – £384.99 (Previously £389)
Bundle 3: PlayStation 4 + Killzone: Shadow Fall + Battlefield 4 – £424.99 (Previously £429)
Bundle 4: PlayStation 4 + Killzone: Shadow Fall + Need For Speed: Rivals – £424.99 (Previously £429)
Bundle 5: PlayStation 4 + Killzone: Shadow Fall + 2 DualShock 4 controllers + PS4 Camera – £429.99 (Previously £449)
Bundle 6: PlayStation 4 + Killzone: Shadow Fall + FIFA 14 + 2 DualShock 4 controllers + PS4 Camera – £469.99 (Previously £489)

Now the cynics amongst you will point out that Sony may already be panicking and maybe pre-order sales are lower than expected hence the price drop. Personally (and quite obviously) I don’t think this is a PlayStation price drop but rather an Amazon price drop to take a lead in sales against their competitors.
