Rumour – PES 2013 might also be delayed

1 min read

We’re still crying about the fact that Borderlands 2 (And to a lesser extent, F1 2012),will only be arriving next week Thursday, but some things just can’t be helped in life. Still, while fans of shoot ‘n loot action won’t be playing that sequel over the long weekend, at least footie fans will get to indulge in the beautiful game, right? Maybe, maybe not, because it looks like PES 2013 might also be missing the release date goal window this Friday as well.

We’ve contacted Ster Kinekor Games about this, who told us that everything is till on track for release day tomorrow, but according to online shopping giant Takealot, the shipment of games has met some issues over at the customs border, possibly delaying it. We’ve also heard that the game might only be delayed in “outlying areas because of (some likely imaginary) forecasted strike,” but that it should be in stores (and more importantly, in your hands) On Friday. Maybe.

While we doubt the game will only be released some time next week, just be prepared for Friday, lest you rock up at your local gaming shop and find zero copies available on the shelves. Keep an eye on this post, as we’ll update it as soon as we hear any news regarding timely deliveries.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
