Sony postpones scheduled maintenance

Were you facing the prospect of a night in, with nothing to do but play single-player games, due to the Sony Network going offline for maintenance? Well good news everybody, as Sony has instead postponed their scheduled rejiggery of their internal systems for tonight, meaning that you can do all the online fragging and racing that your heart desires!

The PSN was originally meant to go dark from 8:00AM PST/4:00PM GMT/6:00PM SAST until at least 10:00PM PST/ 6:00AM Friday GMT/8:00AM Friday SAST, but that’s not happening  anymore. Sony has yet to announce when the actual downtime will occur, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as here about it.

Awesome, now I can explore the southern islands in Hello Kitty Adventures with my pozzie tonight. I mean Soul Calibur V. You read that last sentence wrong. Totally.
