Uncharted Lost Legacy (8)

I’ve always imagined video game art to be the most thankless job in the world. You can’t make a hot new game without a vision, and more often than not said vision is brought to life by a dedicated team of artists. Creative people, whose sole task is to give life to the ramblings of the development staff and produce visual prototypes of everything from the main characters through to the pebbles that players run over with nary a thought to the hours poured into painting those games into life. It’s a hard job, one that requires more and more hands for it the larger a game becomes. Can you imagine then, the amount of art that was poured into Uncharted: The Lost Legacy? The amount of creative genius used to create tombs, treasures and environments that made the game such a stunner? When you’ve set the benchmark in previous titles, the pressure to perform and offer something new must be immense.

Fortunately, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy stepped up to the task at hand, delivering a stunner on the eyes:

Like I said above, the talent that developed the look of the latest Uncharted deserves more love. And if you want to see more of their work, then here you go. Go give these artists some much-deserved appreciation:

Highest of fives, to Naughty Dog’s team of all star artists.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
