SRIV CE 1

You call that a collector’s edition? Ninja, please. I got your collector’s edition right here. And it comes with extra wub wub. 514% extra, to be exact.

Living up to the name of Saints Row IV Collector’s Edition: the Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition, comes this limited edition of the sandbox sequel. In it, you’ll find not only the game, an 8-inch Johnny Gat statue and a Dubstep Doomsday weapon, but an actual Dub Step gun replica yo.

SRIV CE

And it shoots actual game tunes. You hear that Dead Space 2 collector’s edition? You’ve just been served! There’s a bunch of other in-game bonuses as well to convince you to part with your Washingtons, and it’ll cost $99 at retail for this specific special edition.

No word yet on whether or not it’ll make it to our side of the world, but we’ll let you know once we get confirmation from the retail po-po about it.

Nah dude. The over the top approach did it for me. I mean, how much cooler can you get than skydiving from a plane, shooting dudes out of the sky, then shooting through the windscreen of an airplane trying to ram you out of the sky, killing the pilot, running through to the back just to steal another dude’s parachute off of him before jumping out the back… all in the first 5mins of the game. There’s enough serious in the world already

okay, and what about the car physics and at least being somewhat similar to gta 4….. I like realism I dont mind being over the top crazy but keep it real… saints row 3 trailers reviews all showed me one thing, un realistic

The whole point that they didn’t want to replicate was the “realism” displayed in GTA. You already have the GTA’s and now Sleeping Dogs for that. It’s suppose to have the arcade feel to it, so arcade physics and even the unlockable ability to be able to be able to walk away from explosions without being ragdoll’d. It’s a game where you gain levels by getting experience points where it doesn’t feel like a grind(I mean, you get more bonus points for crotch shots than headshots for crying out loud). If you want the GTA experience, there are plenty of GTA games out there. Saints is making the sandbox genre its own.

Agreed, anyone looking for a more “Realistic” sandbox game should find a map and start making their way to Los Santos or Liberty City. My only request is that they extend the length of the game to be more or less the size of Saints Row 2.

Haha, another CE item for the bottom drawer. Rather than include a toy gun, they should include something you can really use, like a real gun, knuckle duster or a Saints Row themed switchblade.

Aah man its about time they brought Gat back! The only real criticism I had of The Third was them killing off Johnny Gat in like the first hour of the game.

@ Aussious I also didn’t like that about the game. But the cool thing about IV is that it’s set in a “virtual” simulation version of Steelport… So I’m hoping Gat makes some sort of return.
