…As a mobile iOS game. HIYOHTALITY!

A free to play card battler/fighting game hybrid , Mobile Mortal Kombat X will be out in April, with the announcement for the game boasting that it will be capable of delivering “striking graphics and brings a custom Mortal Kombat fighting gameplay experience anywhere, anytime through the accessibility of mobile devices. Mortal Kombat X will be available April 2015 on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Android devices.”

“NetherRealm Studios has created a Mortal Kombat X mobile experience that allows more players than ever before to play this over-the-top fighting game through their ever-present smartphones, tablets or other devices,” said NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon in a press statement.

What’s more, we’ve expanded the unique cross-connectivity feature that links the mobile and console versions of Mortal Kombat X, delivering unique rewards to all players for simply playing the mobile game.

Well, I’ll believe it when I see it. The game will apparently contain all the gore of Mortal Kombat through fatalities, X-rays and various other moves. The mobile game will also be used to unlock further content in the console versions of Mortal Kombat X, because cross-play is still a thing these days. Still, I’ve actually got some faith in this particular game. NetherRealm is no stranger to this platform, and their Injustice mobile game was actually not bad at all.

Plus it’s free, so I have nothing to lose until I get sucked into a neverending freemium circle of hell. But I highly doubt that that will happen. Right?

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
