Win in our Star Wars: The Force Awakens competition!

1 min read

Today the internet breaks with what is probably going to be the biggest movie of the year – yes that would be the new J.J Abrams directed Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Set some 30 years after the events of Luke Skywalker and his crew I am dying to find out what happened to them, other than the fact they have all put on 30 kilos and as many wrinkles, Chewie is the only exception! Rrrrrrr-ghghghghgh!!

So in order to celebrate this momentous event we here at the and our lovely sister-site Lazygamer are giving away a hamper that has soft fluffy toys! Oh My gaaad!

Have a look and prepare to force your email address into the box below to stand a chance to win!

We’ll draw on the 6th of January 2016 to give you good reason to start the new year with a bounce so be sure to keep an eye out on Lazygamer and (the latter will be up and running soon) to see who won.

The competition is open to South African residents only and decisions are up to my whim.

I have been an avid fan of movies ever since I discovered Santa Clause wasn't real, a day marked in my memory by my first viewing of It's a Wonderful Life, which wasn't so wonderful that day. Since then I've watched thousands of movies and even fooled my parents into putting me through uni to get a degree in the subject. I first started writing as a journalist for The South African Newspaper before moving onto communications for an NGO trying to save the planet. Unfortunately my recommendations to the CEO that we should all don rings imbued with the powers of earth, fire, wind, water and HEART went unheard. Now I pretend the end isn't nigh by hiding in movies.
