Microsoft and Sony are likely to have a very busy year. Demand for the new consoles is there, and with more people turning to video games to help stave off boredom during lockdowns, gaming is a surefire bet on which markets to keep your eyes on. Even though those consoles are pegged to sell a massive amount of units, NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella, Kantan Games’ Dr. Serkan Toto, and Ampere Analysis’ Piers Harding-Rolls believe that the Nintendo Switch will once again come out on top in 2021.

An update released by Double Fine Games has confirmed that the studios is in the final stages of development and fans won’t need to wait much longer.

Who knows what 2021 has in store, but one thing is for certain: With this crew of wonderful rebels, nothing can stop us as we dive head-first into the unknown.

Unfortunately it looks like those hoping the coronavirus would be a 2020 only problem will be sorely disappointed.

Revealed at Ubisoft Forward after doing a few leaked rounds, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will arrive on January 21 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Once again, you’ll be able to outwit enemies and navigate death traps by using the Prince’s personal cheat code, a magical dagger that can freeze time and even reverse it.
