Originally due for a release in March, Agony was pushed back to May 29 instead as some extra work was needed to help deliver some more torturous content. Looks like that extra time in the oven has paid off, because Agony won’t exactly be the briefest of walks in Satan’s backyard.
There’s a fine line though, between games which are ordinarily violent and games which dial the gore up to 11. Horror game Agony is just one such game, a hellish journey into pain and suffering that was too violent even for console in its original form.
Agony sadly failed its first Kickstarter campaign last year, but after seemingly successful showings at several expos recently, it’s back for a second attempt at crowd funding.
