Don’t you love the week or two building up to a new season of Apex? It feels like Christmas for people who appreciate good Battle Royale games.

This week, the Pokémon anime did something different with Ash’s latest attempt to best the Elite Four of the Alolan Islands. A plot twist so out of left field, that I’m convinced up is now down, left is right and that John Cena can actually be seen. Spoilers below, but HOO BOY WHAT A TWIST!

The only confirmed character at present is wizened wizard Shang Tsung, with Mortal Kombat movie actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa reprising his role. The list includes more than just returning Mortal Kombat characters though, with Terminator, Joker and Spawn also apparently coming to the game. The Evil Dead’s Ash Williams is also on that list, but according to Ash actor Bruce Campbell, the rumour isn’t true. Making the entire list of DLC seem dubious, Campbell quashed rumours of Ash’s inclusion.

Dead by Daylight, the asymmetrical survival horror multiplayer game (that’s a mouthful) might be getting some of it’s best DLC’s yet.
