With some extra polish, a retuning of the enemies and less frequent knockdowns, there could be something magical here down the road. I’m still not entirely sold on the live service model and having a battle pass system in play this early in the lifecycle of Marvel’s Avengers feels premature, but I’m slowly feeling it!
Marvel’s Avengers may play like a checklist of live service game tropes, but it’s a damn good-looking assemblage of Earth’s mightiest heroes. Square Enix has revealed the minimum and recommended PC specs for the game, which are about as standard as torn purple pants on a gamma-powered giant with staggering anger management issues.
Now I’m not just saying that the PlayStation 4 version will be the best incarnation of Marvel’s Avengers because a chap from Sony forced an ungodly sum of cash into my hands despite my meagre pleas of “hey no please don’t I really don’t want to live in a mansion,” but that’s the honest truth right there. PlayStation 4 (and eventually PS5) owners of Marvel’s Avengers will get a better deal overall, receiving exclusive loot, outfits and much more.
Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is coming to Marvel’s Avengers in early 2021, but there’s a (not completely unexpected twist) to the webhead’s appearance: He’ll only be popping up on the PlayStation version of the game.
Hawkeye won't be sitting on the benches for long when Marvel's Avengers launches, as he'll be the first free DLC character that players can get their hands on
On the surface, Marvel’s Avengers looks like your stock standard live service game: Several characters and classes to choose from, a whole lot of gear to chase down so that you’ll always have a mathematical edge in combat and a whole lot cannon fodder to punch your way through. Last night’s war table event finally shed light on one of the other modes that’ll be coming with the game in September: A properly chunky co-op selection of missions known as Warzones.
Square Enix has officially confirmed that Marvel’s Avengers will be up for a free upgrade from PS4 and Xbox One to PS5 and Xbox Series X, when said versions arrive on those machines. Players will be able to carry over their save-games and progression, with cross-generation multiplayer within the same console family also being supported.
In an industry often clouded by exclusivity and inflated price tags, Dossier Perfumes emerges …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
