The bright knight is making a comeback for another mystery, that has him enlisting the aid of none other than…Scooby freakin’ Doo. Like, zoinks.

Maybe the Batman of Arkham Knight is onto something then, as Hot Toys is preparing to redo their upcoming video game sixth-scale figure with a more futuristic colour scheme.

Batman’s fight against crime has often been called a personal war. A conflict that stems from loss and tragedy. The tragedy of war however, is that it often exacts a personal cost for any side involved in it. How long can one man fight a battle that seems to have no chance of ever resolving itself? Is the price even worth it in the end, as the soldiers on the frontline risk losing their humanity? That’s a few of the questions that readers are left asking at the end of Batman: The Merciless

In recent years, there’s also been an attempt to heal Batman mentally. To reforge the character into in an individual who is well aware of just how damaged he is, and how he can channel that trauma towards a less destructive path. Batman as he is now, is an icon. A symbol of overcoming fear and other limitations to be a better person. Unfortunately, that’s a lesson that the Batman of the dark multiverse didn’t learn.

Jack "The Joker" Napier is a man with a plan to save Gotham, and he can’t do it behind the mask of a harlequin of hate. Gotham needs a hero who the people can rally behind, and it certainly isn;t the dark knight in Batman: White Knight.

Telltale continues to define their vision for the dark knight and Gotham, as Batman’s war against crime pulls no punches while also setting itself up for a showdown that’ll leave the Caped Crusader shaken to his core.

Snyder’s run on Batman looks to be coming to a temporary end though. With Metal currently unfolding as Batman faces his worst fears made real in the form of a league of evil Dark Knights, Snyder is hoping to create an ending for his Batman in Batman: Last Knight. At the New York Comic Con, Snyder spoke about how Grant Morrison once advised that he give his superheroes “a birth and a death.”

There’s plenty of terrific stuff in the new trailer for Justice League, most of which seems dedicated to what I’d imagine is the third act of the film: There’s a conveniently abandoned Eastern-European City, the Parademons of Apocalypse have turned a nuclear reactor into a nesting ground and the Justice League is united for a final stand against SteppenWolf and his hordes. Still no Superman in action, which is the smartest marketing move by Warner Bros. so far I reckon.
