If you're having trouble getting past a certain biome, good news! You can make the initial grind a little bit easier using cheat codes in the game. Or more specifically, debug codes.

Before you get started on Returnal, here's a few pointers to help you survive the long fight ahead of you.

Don't call them cheat codes in Tony Hawk's brand new remaster. Call them game mods instead.

There’s 14 cheat codes hidden within DOOM Eternal, just waiting to be collected and used for the sake of pure unrelenting fun. From infinite ammo to power-ups that quadruple your damage output, DOOM Eternal’s cheat codes provide a neat twist on the rip and tear gameplay. Here's where you can find them.

If there’s one tradition that’s alive and well in Red Dead Redemption 2, it’s Rockstar’s love of cheat codes. A mainstay of any game from the developer, cheat codes are old school throwbacks to a time when players wanted to play a game and get drunk with power. Just like Grand Theft Auto 5 before it, Red Dead Redemption 2 does have cheats, but they comes with a few caveats.

Much like many many other LEGO games, LEGO DC Super Villains has an entire multiverse worth of characters to collect, unlock and play around with. Some can be found, others can be bought and a bunch more can be straight up added to your roster with a little of the ol’ cheat code magic. From classic Kneel Diamond obsessed antagonists such as General Zod to more obscure threats such as Clock King, there’s a whole lot of mischief just waiting to be found.

It’s safe to say that the latest LEGO game once again has a roster whose number can only be described as silly. So silly in fact, that I’m amazed that there isn’t a Monty Python’s Flying Circus tribute in the form of Graham Chapman’s army colonel, telling the game to “stop that”. And also to cut its hair. Not every character in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 can be unlocked however.
