Wonder Woman is out this week, and by all accounts it’s a damned good movie – and probably the best bit of cinematography to come out of the DC Comics extended Universe thus far. Atleast, according to critics.

Move over all you tragic, moody superheroes, and take your tortured backstories with you. The DC Extended Universe has a new star. One that is going to save the world and the rest of the DCEU in one go. It's time Wonder Woman shows us what real heroes are made of.

Wonder Woman should be that film which hits both nails on the head the first time. An all-star cast, setting and a hero who deserves a chance in the shine in a universe that DC Comics and Warner Bros are also heavily banking on. Current box office estimates point towards a fairly decent opening, from anywhere between $65 million on the lowest end of the spectrum through to $115 million at its highest. Which is allpure guesswork at this stage.
