There are games out there that are bright,happy and optimistic, that aren’t all about death and consequences and just remind you that, hey, there is good out there in the world. So I’ve compiled a list of games that I’ve been delving into to raise my spirits and, maybe if you’re struggling too, they can lift yours too.

This week’s announcement? A bunch of new characters that includes a bunch of ninjas: Boruto Uzumaki, Gaara, Kakashi Hatake and Kaguya Otsutsuki from the Naruto universe. If your AMV senses aren’t tingling yet, that’s a stable of powerful fan favourite ninjas (and Boruto) that’ll be joining Uzumaki Naruto in action. Plus a certain someone else from the Joestar bloodline looks set to make the cut.

Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age will hit that platform and PlayStation 4 on September 4, bringing with it a ton of localised features. English dialogue, increased difficulty modes, better menus and a first-person camera are just some of the features that fans can expect to see.

The incredibly addictive Dragon Quest Builders is getting a sequel, and its now coming to Nintendo's Switch in the near future.
