EA wants us all to play the guessing game!

red-alert-3-art-big.jpg Here's a funny one. A whole bunch of Red Alert 3 manuals had some printing issues that cause the 20th digit or letter to not be printed in the games security key. So EA has taken the incredible approach of asking an owner to guess. They replied to his query by recommending that he "enter your existing code, and try guessing the last character". Cool, that means that he could land up having to punch the code in around 36 times as it could be anything from A - Z and then 0 - 9. Sounds like a fun mission, does it unlock any special vehicles? Then again, at least Red Alert came with it's code (Poke, poke, Microsoft).

I don’t know about you but this week seems to be taking forever, I am not sure if it’s the excess workload or the fact that Gears is being released tomorrow though. Either way you deserve to take 4 minutes and 46 seconds off right now so grab yourself a cup of coffee and meditate the gamers way. By listening …

Cliff Blezinski just doesn’t get Mirror’s Edge

By Gavin Mannion

Some people are good at everything they do and others are just great at certain things, Cliff Blezinski appears to be falling into the latter category after reading his comments about Mirror’s Edge “I think Mirror’s Edge will be great, too, but they’re showing me too much parkour, I want to see the gunplay. I hope it’s not all just …

Unfortunately unless you pre-ordered from an American retailer you are most probably not going to be getting a key to unlock the time trial option. With that in mind here is a video of what you can’t have, while that may be mean it does at least give us mere mortals the chance to see the Time Trial option which …

The Mirror’s Edge demo was finally released this week and I started the download with a little apprehension as I was really looking forward to this game but wasn’t sure if they would be able to pull it off. Well to cut to the chase, the game is awesome. The demo is horribly intelligently short and really helps build the …

Trailer for a Demo? Apparently so for Mirror's Edge

By Nick De Bruyne

With the Mirror's Edge release date looking closer (November 11) and the demo now available on Xbox Live and PSN, EA has taken a rather strange move and released a trailer for the demo. Kind of like killing two birds with one running shoe. The trailer shows off some of the tutorial gameplay as well as a trainer that is helping our protagonist get back on her feet, almost literally. With some interesting music and editing, the trailer does it's job pretty well and has certainly helped maintain my curiosity about how this game is going to play at the end of the day. It's something different, I'll give it that much.

According to DPadMagazine the demo for Mirrors Edge is leaping onto PSN today and onto Xbox Live tomorrow morning. However right now I am taking that with a pinch of salt as they reference the official Mirror’s Edge site which doesn’t say anything of the sort. I have been looking forward to this game for quite some time now and …

Skate 2 is shaping up to be even more of a fantastic game than it's older brother. So, what would Skate be without a few pro skater's to run into (literally). This latest trailer shows clips of each pro skater in the game busting a sweet move and gives us the full roster of the faces that will be in the game. Skate 2 only ships next year but the excitement is already killing me.
