Just after all those Silent Hill fans have been disappointed, it’s time for Dead Space fans to step up to the plate.

Knockout City by Velan Studios is one of the most mentally-taxing games I've experienced in a while, frantic action that builds on the idea of outwitting your opponent by altering how you throw your ball, curving its path, and taking advantage of a split-second lapse in your opponent's concentration to bonk their face in.

Considering that the original games aren’t actually that big and we’ve been conditioned by Call of Duty to expect huge patches, it’s actually not that bad.

This would corroborate the rumours that DICE was taking the series back to more modern times in an attempt recapture the glory days of Battlefield 3.

Don’t you love the week or two building up to a new season of Apex? It feels like Christmas for people who appreciate good Battle Royale games.

Which is obviously fantastic news because there’s a criminally small amount of Titanfall in every other shooter available these days.

It’s about time someone at EA said, “Hey, what if we actually just give people what they wanted instead of pointless multiplayer?”. A refreshing take indeed.
