Everspace 2 is still in early access, but from what the developers have said there’s still a decent chunk of game for players to sink their teeth into.

Imagine trying to schedule the release of a game alongside one of the most over-hyped in history? Can’t instil a great deal of confidence, right?

Between Sony, Nintendo, EA, Microsoft, Ubisoft and Bethesda, the PC Gaming Show tends to get a bit…overlooked every year. It’s a shame, as this event usually rocks up with a ton of new trailers, deep dives and reveals on games from across all walks of gaming life. This year is no different, as PC Gamer’s annual event is looking to go all out with more than two dozen developers bringing their digital wares straight to your eyeballs.

Not you! Probably. We had a good number of entries on this competition, and while we would have loved to have seen everyone get a code, sadly we only had 20 of them to give away.

Our pals at Rockfish Games and Plan of Attack have dropped an entire 20 codes for the PC prototype build of Everspace 2 into my inbox, and I’m looking to share the love.

Everspace 2 is looking like a handsome return to the cosmos that haven’t been seen since the days of Freelancer and Wing Commander, ditching the rogue-like elements of the first game for a more focused RPG system of space combat.
