Final Fantasy IX has been exclusive to the PlayStation 1 for over 15 years, but that's due to change soon. The iconic title will be releasing on both Steam and Mobile platforms soon!

With Final Fantasy 7 Remake getting a trailer that had many tongues wagging and even more questions being asked, Square Enix was ready to answer them all. Actually no, that’s a lie. Square Enix has decided to remain mum on most of the questions surrounding their action-heavy remake of the cult classic Final Fantasy title.

Lots of people seem to be upset about Final Fantasy 7 Remake lately. But I’m here to lay a pipe-bomb of reality at your doorstep, and apply a Cobra-clutch strangle-hold to your righteous anger for the house of Square Enix. Here’s a bunch of reasons why quite honestly, you need to stop complaining.

In news today that has seen forums all across the world pen a few open letters and attempt to get a hashtag or two rolling, it looks Final Fantasy VII Remake will be hitting the PlayStation 4 not as a proper four-disc remaster, but in the form of a “multi-part series”.

It seems that the latest Final Fantasy is tantalisingly close to completion. So close, that you can just smell the Marlboro fumes through your monitor, which may also be the reason why you’re seeing freaky stuff right now.

One of the best fighting games that I ever played, had to be Final Fantasy’s Dissidia series on the PlayStation Portable. Three-dimensional to the max, Dissidia Final Fantasy may have had a loopy plot, but the game was pure fan service. And the latest arcade version of the franchise is hitting all the right notes for me.

There might be some money in remakes. Yes, that. Square Enix, home of Final Fantasy and a range of action figures that I’m desperately craving right now, is looking to spin some of their older titles onto new platforms. Platforms which include virtual reality, it seems.
