Cyberpunk 2077, the game of a dozen delays and impossible hype, is finally ready for its December 10 launch on a bunch of systems. Last week saw footage released for the game running on Xbox One X (meh) and Xbox Series X (better!), while this week the focus is on jacking into the Sony side of Night City. Also stop laughing, you juvenile lot. That sentence is only slightly funny.
Now that Destiny 2: Beyond Light’s raid has been conquered, a whole new set of activities have opened up on Europa. Activities primarily related to getting dat sweet sweet loot. One of the hot ticket items is the Lament, an Exotic chainsaw sword that can be revved up to deal extra damage. That perk puts it in the top tier of Destiny swords, alongside Black Talon and Falling Guillotine.
Less is more, and Destiny 2: Beyond Light feels like a positive first step towards a new era for the franchise. New Stasis subclasses, a compelling storyline, and a gorgeous new planet to explore make for an intriguing new direction for Bungie’s cosmic sandbox.
Remakes of older Pokémon games are as much of a sure bet as corruption in politics or me finding some way to surprise Gavin yet again with my unfiltered takes on food. I can’t believe fruit mince pies don’t have mince made out of fruit, that’s false advertising yo. Now that 2020 has doubled down on Pokémon expansions instead of an all star combo of Pokémon Sword and Shield, it’s time to look towards 2021 and see what’s on the Nintendo horizon.
Capcom’s Retro Station might be the best alternative then to a full arcade stand, even if it only plays ten games from two franchises. While the publisher hasn’t officially confirmed it, Amazon Japan let the hadouken out of the bag by revealing the arcade-inspired unit, and it is simply adorable. Just look at this.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition doesn’t offer any massive surprises for veteran fans, but as a fresh chapter for newcomers? It makes one of the best action games of the last generation one of the most thrilling of the new generation.
