Crash Team Racing is almost unbelievably faithful to the original PlayStation 1 kart racer from Naughty Dog. Whipping my kart around the long corners of Tiny Arena felt like I was a kid again, experiencing arcade kart racing for the first time again while mastering all the right jumps and angles for efficient boosts and drifts. But like both the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro Trilogy remasters before it, Crash Team Racing using more powerful hardware to make these remakes stand out in new ways. With Crash Team Racing that’s clearly evident in its more effects heavy and detailed races, but modern enhancements are taking hold off the track too.

Ubisoft would be the first to agree that the ‘live’ strategy for The Division was sorely lacking in 2016. While End Game content was a reactionary process (albeit rapidly resolved) for The Division, this 2019 follow-up has post level-cap intrigue as a wholly integrated raison d'être.

The Far Cry series is a bit of an oddity in the gaming industry where the regularly released "numbered" titles pop up every few years and then the developers are set free to create weird and exciting new game between core series entries. Normally these games have nothing in common with the actual main game, but with Far Cry: New Dawn Ubisoft has decided to link the two... kind of.
