Long since hailed as the best damn superhero comic book around, Invincible is more than that right now. It's also one of the best damn superhero animated series on TV right now.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a modern-day epic in both length and style, the likes of which will never be seen again on the big screen. A titanic improvement over the original, its overall story may be a barebones assemblage of awesome power but its elevated by visually stunning spectacle and attitude.

From The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an hour-long, adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.

Invincible used to call itself "The Best Superhero Comic in the Universe" and the upcoming animated TV series adaptation is definitely living up to that with a star-studded voice cast boasting Steven Yuen, JK Simmons, Sandra Oh, Mark Hammill, Seth Rogen and more.
