According to sources over at Eurogamer, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided would have told a more complete story, with the narrative eventually being chopped as production grew to an unreasonably massive size over the five years of development. Which probably explains the utter anti-climatic ending for Mankind Divided. It's a pity we may never have any real resolution.
