The next three Transformers films will roll out annually; Bumblebee solo film confirmed
With an international haul of over $1.1 billion, Transformers: Age of Extinction was a runaway success for Paramount. And they want more. Lots more Transformers.
The next three TRANSFORMERS films will roll out annually; Bumblebee solo film confirmed
Transformers 4 is a terrible, terrible movie. It’s so magnificently terrible, that even I feel like I wasted R50 on a ticket to see a bloated special effects budget run havoc with Marky Mark and pals in tow. And I’m the kind of guy who has a treasured DVD copy of Tom Green’s underrated comedy classic Freddy Got Fingered on …
Paramount and Nickelodeon to produce NICKTOONS crossover animated movie
In the words of Oprah Winfrey: “You get a shared movie universe! You get a shared movie universe! EVERYBODY GETS A SHARED MOVIE UNIVEEEEEERRRRRSSSSE!!” Yes, ever since Marvel had Tony Stark stroll into a bar in Incredible Hulk, Hollywood has gone crazy over the concept of characters from different movies hanging out together. Usually this is a big logistical and …
Paramount pulls TERMINATOR sequels from release schedule
Terminator 2 will no longer be coming out on May 19, 2017, which is a good thing considering I saw it back in 1992. Time travel! Paramount has reportedly pulled the sequel (which was confusingly being referred to as Terminator 2) to last year’s Terminator: Genisys from its release schedule and decided to place it with the Baywatch comedy reboot …
Neil Patrick Harris set to play role of Count Olaf in Netflix's A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS
I quite liked the movie adaptation of Lemony Snickets: A Series of Unfortunate Events. The movie directed by Brad Siberling was an unwieldy film with a look that truly captured the bizarre creations of the books and featured some wonderful, if not over the top, performances by Jim Carrey. So, when Netflix announced that they were going to grab the …
WORLD WAR Z sequel loses its director Juan Antonio Bayana
That the first World War Z movie actually released and ended up as an entertaining and successful movie, was a surprise in itself given the difficulties they had with production of the first movie. Now despite having a seemingly stronger direction of where to go as a movie, bigger budget and potential to be a strong franchise, the sequel seems …
Michael Bay confirms that he will be done with the franchise after making Transformers 5
Despite raking in absurd profits at the box office the popular Transformers franchise seems to have been losing out in other probably more important aspects – like quality. While Michael Bay is certainly no newcomer to the movie making game and has directed some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters, there is a feeling among movie lovers that the director is simply …
Vin Diesel confirms the XXX 3 director
Just last week Vin Diesel found his director in F. Gary Gray for the hit franchise The Fast and the Furious – now Diesel has found his guy to direct his return to the big screen as Xander Cage in XXX 3 in D.J. Caruso. You will know Caruso from movies like Eagle Eye, Disturbia and I Am Number Four, all …
