We told you yesterday that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was getting a patch in the next few days, and that it would likely stop the infamous 725 Shotgun from being quite as lethal at long range as it has been. With the Bloody Harvest event underway, Gearbox is looking to make Borderlands 3 bigger, better and even more stable with the upcoming November patch.

After a few weeks of coasting on hotfixes, the first proper Borderlands 3 patch has arrived and is ready to begin fixing some of the issues that have been plaguing players.

Control, from Max Payne and Alan Wake maker Remedy, is a lovely game – and one of my favourite games of the years so far. It’s a mind-fuck of a game that blends Metroidvania-styled exploration with tight 3rd person shooter mechanics and super powers, all wrapped up in some intriguing, eyebrow-raising exposition.

Anthem’s long-awaited Cataclysm event has finally begun, and that’ll definitely show Jeremy in accounting how wrong he was about the game never getting any content ever again after it failed to stick the landing.
