Microsoft’s got a bunch of new games headed to Xbox Game Pass, and they’re good ones! Over the next couple of weeks, you can expect the library to be refreshed with the likes of Ninja Theory's Bleeding Edge, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Astrologaster and The Surge 2. Plus a new system that makes me feel all perky.

As usual, the real question tat Liao had was whether or not Echo would exist as a force for good or as the next evolution of synthetic life that would succeed in wiping out humanity. I think she turned out for the better.

It’s Battlemode where DOOM Eternal will live on, a one versus two multiplayer setup where a fully-kitted Doom Slayer takes on two demons who have to use guile and cunning to survive. It looks neat, and far better than DOOM 2016’s tepid approach to multiplayer. Something which even Bethesda VP Pete Hines agrees with.

DOOM Eternal is the most metal game in all of creation. It is rage and fire, the purity of armed combat dialled up to eleven and unleashed on a horde of eyeballs that simply aren’t ready for the retina-searing action that’s about to burn a new circle of hellish good fun into those ocular organs. Long live the Doom Slayer, long live the king of first-person shooters.

With video games, the flow of work seems to be one that has adapted to the new status quo, as studios quarantine their employees at home and use the power of the web to get work done on projects. Take CD Projekt Red for instance, who have introduced new measures to keep its valued employees healthy and alive.

Resident Evil 3 is mere days away, and Capcom is looking to build some hype with a demo. Jill Valentine’s Day will kick off on March 18, with Capcom saying that the console and PC demo will have a fair chunk of content within it.
