Perhaps the very tip of that crapburg however, belongs to the actual button layout of PUBG on Xbox One. It’s overly-convoluted, with buttons often having multiple functions mapped to them that results in bloated gameplay. It seems some of that fat is being trimmed off in the latest PUBG update however, as a Type-B preset seeks to evolve the game further.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is certainly playable on Xbox One, but it’s a far cry from the game as it is on PC right now. Graphics and performance issues abound, the UI is a bit of a mess and the controls take more than a little getting used to. But! It’s a preview game, which means that it’s nowhere near being done, and will be getting a billion or so patches before it’s considered a retail game. The first of those is coming tomorrow.
