PlayStation has decided to slap a boatload of developing countries (and a few Vikings), with a price increase on the eve of the next-gen through its PlayStation Store online store, and yes, we’re also on the list.

So what’s next for Star Wars games? Over on ResetEra, a bit of clever sleuthing was done. Someone programmed a bot to scrape through the Internet and tweet anything new that pops up on the PlayStation store, and that bot dug up a definitely not meant for public knowledge yet scoop in the form of Star Wars: Project Maverick.

While it was always obvious that Jill Valentine’s escape from the doomed Raccoon City would be the next logical choice, there was scant proof to go around to prove that this would be the next remake caper. Until today that is, when Resident Evil 3 Remake cover art popped up on the PlayStation Network.

Well here’s some good and bad news for anyone who is looking to leave that horrific past behind them as if it were a MySpace page. Good, because PlayStation 4 owners can finally swap their custom nickname for something better, and bad because today is the last day I’ll ever be able to make fun of Alessandro for choosing StArKiLlER_360_NoscopeXXxxXXx as his nom de guerre.

One of the things that makes Steam such a nice place to buy games is its very generous refund policy. If you’ve bought a game, given it a bit of a while and not enjoyed it at all, you can request a full refund – provided you do so within fourteen days and haven’t played said game for more than two hours. If the game is a broken mess, you can get a refund outside of those terms. It’s really quite consumer friendly, and a far cry from the sort of refund policies you’d find on PlayStation. Thankfully that’s changing

Hitman 2 launches on November 13 with every stage completed and thrown into one bundle, much to the joy of fans who skipped the first game because of its downloadable nature. An episodic structure that seems to have been the original design goal, according to leaked PSN trophies.
