ID’s Rage – The PS3 Is Struggling, The 360 Isn’t.

By Geoffrey Tim

Here’s some incredibly surprising news; Yet another developer is bemoaning the Playstation 3’s stilted architecture and having a tough time getting their game to run well on Sony’s 3rd place, current-gen wonderbox. A broken record that PS3 fans must be getting pretty tired of hearing. With almost every 3rd party developer having similar concerns a full three years in to …

Gran Turismo 5 Coming December – So Says Amazon.com

By Nick De Bruyne

While it cannot be seen as confirmed, Amazon.com now has Gran Turismo 5 set for a December release date. We don’t know the system behind Amazon’s release dates, but what does make me think that this may not be true is that it is dated for the 29th. I cannot see why anyone would want to release during that specific …

While Ubisoft may not be making any more dosh off of the antedeluvian Playstation 2, Sony still is! According to a Sony quarterly report 1.6 million of the things were sold in the first quarter of 2009 – up from the 1.5 units that found their way in to homes in the same time last year. A bit of good …

Normally hugely obese women are easy to see coming but we have been blindsided here by Sony announcing that the hugely hyped Fat Princess will be arriving on the PSN this Thursday. I still haven’t seen enough of this title to be convinced yet but the early previews have been glowing but I haven’t heard much about this title in …

In the Wake of Capcom’s next-gen release of the popular Bionic Commando, some of you guys may not already know of Capcom’s remake of the original 2D platformer, entitled Bionic Commando: Rearmed. Its available on the PlayStation Network and has proved to be fairly popular thus far. Well if you’ve enjoyed the game so far then you’ll be happy to know that it gets even better with the new trophy patch. Check out the patch notes as well as the trophy list after the jump. New “Normal” difficulty setting changes… * When you die, you respawn at the last solid ground or checkpoint * The level Albatross B was cut * The ability to reel out the cable when hanging or swinging to its full length * If the player swings into a wall, they will no longer disconnect and be thrown away from the wall.

Info & News: The Force Has Been Unleashed Even More

By Faheem

That's right Jedi Apprentices, LucasArts have confirmed that the Star Wars Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition will be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 by Christmas. The title will include the full version of the original game as well as three new levels and a full alternate story. Apparently two of the levels will be available as DLC whilst the other is exclusive to the Ultimate Sith Edition. Basically the alternate story follows Star Killer killing Darth Vader and becoming the Emperor's new Apprentice. Players will have to then visit planets like Tatooine, Coruscant and even the icy landscapes of Hoth to take on the legendary Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jabba The Hutt and even Boba Fett (the bounty hunter who was used to create the clone army). The best part of all is that there is another alternate story in this one that will send players on a mission to destroy the Rebellion and face Luke Skywalker. The original version has sold over six million copies since its release in September last year and has since been hailed as the fastest selling Star Wars game ever. Thus its understandable why Aspyr Media and LucasArts are also bringing the game to both PC and Apple Mac. I thoroughly enjoyed Force Unleashed especially for the story (yeah I'm a bit of a fanboy). I did however think that the action was a little too watered down and never quite felt the full force capability of Star Killer. It was still awesome though and I'm so getting this new edition. Until then (oh man I'm gonna say it) may the force be with you. Sorry but I couldn't help myself to some cheese.

MW2multiplayerAC130.jpg Knowing that the next Modern Warfare game was simply just "on the way" seems to have had an effect on my actual excitement for the game. It took looking at this newly revealed multiplayer trailer from Infinity Ward to remind me that I am in fact incredibly excited for this game and it's release date needs to get here faster. This specific trailer shows off a new multiplayer element that comes in the form of the AC130 Big-Ass-Mofo-Plane that can now be controlled by players to rain down some serious death from above. Check out the awesome-ness, posted after the jump. Be sure to catch the last little part of the trailer, it's a nice little humorous touch. [Thanks Poddle for the tip]
