Ubisoft, developer and publisher of bad-ass tactical shooter Rainbow Six siege, is filing suit against a company they claim is selling services that disrupt their networks through DDoS. Though the suit names multiple people from across the globe, it was filed in a California court last week. The suit alleges that the defendants operate a site called SNG.ONE, which sells …
Rainbow Six Siege is as good as it’ll ever be thanks to Operation Shifting Tides introducing some much-requested new content, with the complete package being a superb showcase of action, strategy and half a decade’s worth of polish.
More than a year ago in a live stream, Ubisoft promised that Rainbow Six Siege servers would go live in South Africa. They were working on the information that Microsoft’s Azure datacentres would soon be deployed in the region, but that took a little longer than anticipated. Then, once they were finally available, the Azure datacentres were limited; used primarily for business cases.
The Fourth season of the fourth year of Rainbow Six Siege – Shifting Tides - has been live on the Test Servers for a while, and one of the most exciting things about the test is that it included testing the stability of South African servers. We’ve given it a go, and the experience is pretty damned great (except when people are hurling abuse at you, because boy are people toxic). That said, the plan is to roll the servers out once testing is all done and Ubisoft can ensure a smooth local experience.

That’s not to say that one such game doesn’t exist.
