They may not have the highest of profiles, but between dedicated horror games such as a new Flight Simulator, indie rock adventures in No Straight Roads and flinging a foolish samurai into battle against an ancient evil, I'm digging what I'm seeing so far.
Samurai Jack may have completed its incredible saga a couple of years ago with an Adult Swim series that finally allowed Gendy Tartakovsky’s signature creation to cut loose and shed some blood, but his story in video games isn’t over yet! Adult Swim Games and Japanese developer Soleil Games are trotting out a brand new adventure for the ronin, his first starring role in over a decade since 2004’s Shadow of Aku.
2017 was another knockout year for cartoons, resulting in the finest animation around. While there could only be one winner, the honourable mentions below are still well worth several hours of your time. Whether it be video game-inspired adventures or goofy escapades, the genre has had plenty to offer.

The company has been steadily pumping out poster after poster based on films classic and current, tapping incredible talent to help restore colour and imagination to the art form. At the San Diego Comic Con, Mondo had a lot of posters to show off. Do yourself a favour, and gawk at them.
