Once the dust had settled, developer Warner Bros Montreal had done a bang-up job on the Batman prequel. With Rocksteady now departing the Arkham waters for non-Batman related projects, the Batman game universe will most likely be relying on Warner Bros. Montreal to fill the Dark Knight gap. And it sounds like they’re getting ready for something big.

The script for Shane Black's "genius" PREDATOR sequel is done

By Kervyn Cloete

If you ask me, there’s never really been a proper Predator sequel. The John McTiernan directed 1987 action movie classic did get a follow-up in the urban set Predator 2, but let’s face it: Danny Glover fumbling around LA is just no replacement for Arnold Schwarzenegger mowing down a rain forest. 2010’s Predators offered a bit more hope and certainly has …

Did Ridley Scott change the PROMETHEUS sequel title again?

By Kervyn Cloete

What’s in a name? A Prometheus sequel by any other name is still just a Prometheus sequel, right? Well, I certainly hope so because either director Ridley Scott’s memory is going (hey, the man is 77!), or he’s going through some kind of identity crisis. Just recently we heard that the upcoming sequel to not-an-Alien-prequel Prometheus was going to be …

Here’s how Rise of The Tomb Raider got its name

Rise of The Tomb Raider properly sets up Lara Croft in her signature role of an action archaelogist. But that sequel almost had a different name entirely and was for a good while known as Tomb Raider: Ascension.

The game is afoot again in Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter

I’ve actually got soft spot for the Sherlock Holmes games. They’re pretty much the only game in town when it comes to sleuthing as the master analyst, and they’ve been competent experiments in solving problems with your brain instead of bullets. Clearly, the previous Sherlock Holmes game from Frogware sold enough copies, as a new sequel is on the way.

Yippie-ki-what?! DIE HARD 6 being developed as both prequel and sequel!

Just go ahead and mentally file away this bit of news away under “W”. That’s “W” for “What the effing hell?!” as Deadline broke the news earlier this morning that a new Die Hard movie is now in development at Fox, and somehow it’s being spun as both an origin story prequel as well as a sequel. Tentatively titled Die …

Marvel announces ANT-MAN AND THE WASP and 3 other new films

Well here’s some fANTastic news! Last night Marvel officially updated their current Phase 3 plans to now include an Ant-Man sequel that will be titled Ant-Man and the Wasp! While Ant-Man may have had a production schedule rockier than Ben Grimm’s butt, I really enjoyed what director Peyton Reed and star/co-writer Paul Rudd eventually delivered. I certainly wasn’t alone in my praise …

Keanu Reeves talks about JOHN WICK 2

By Trevor Davies

We’ve already told you that a sequel to one of last years biggest surprises, John Wick, is in development with half of its original directing team, in the form of Chad Stahelski, taking the reins solo this time around. Recently star Keanu Reeves opened up to Collider about why he’s keen to reprise the role despite the original being a fairly open-and-shut …
