AO Tennis 2 serves up a launch trailer

By Geoffrey Tim

For a long time, we had close to zero Tennis games – which is a pity given how we had both Virtual Tennis and top spin serving up aces. Then in 2018 we suddenly had two big ones; Tennis World Tour – one of the worst sports games I’ve had the misfortune of playing - and AO Tennis, which also wasn’t very good. At least the developers of AO Tennis fixed the game up after its release, to the point where it was a serviceable Tennis simulator.

I Am Jesus Christ is a “realistic” simulator game that will allow you to Feed the poor, heal the sick and banish Satan

There’s been no shortage of video games starring the Super-Messiah over the years (And a disgusting lack of games starring that other fella Brian who is not the Messiah but a very naughty boy), but few have attempted to put a realistic spin on the man of miracles. Realistic gameplay such as healing the sick, feeding the hungry and going toe to toe with the almighty Satan in the very depths of hell as you toss bolts of pure Christianity at a demon that looks like it’s still pissed off that it got beat in a rock-off by Tenacious D.

Looking back at the last couple of years, zoning especially in on their releases so far in 2019, Codemasters has gone from success to success to become my most reliable go-to for quality video gaming. They’ve been knocking it out of the racetrack with the likes of DiRT Rally 2.0 and F1 2019. But my appreciation for them stems from …

I am excited to try out the full version of Anno 1800. Having previewed it back in January, it was apparent that Ubisoft’s civilisation simulator had received improvements and additions that elevated it above its franchise predecessors. Up to this point, pre-orders have been open on both Uplay and Steam. Now that’s changing. On Friday, the game’s publisher announced that …

DiRT Rally 2.0 review – Precise podium finishes

By Sam Spiller

The sub-genre of racing simulators is not one that I bear a special love towards, but it is one that I highly respect. The grand endeavour to achieve absolute realism in a video game, be it from the laws of gravity to the horrors of war, includes perfecting the sensation of an Audi Quattro flying along a forest floor on …
