Looking at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which arrives well after the launch of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice you’d think that Respawn poached plenty of inspiration from its Japanese counterpart, but seeing as how Respawn began work several years ago on their Star Wars tale, it may just be a case of amazing coincidence at play once again. That doesn’t mean that Respawn doesn’t like the comparison though.

One thing you won’t be seeing in Fallen Order? While Star Wars films may be filled with dismemberment scenes a’plenty, Cal Kestis will leave his foes in one piece for the duration of the game. Most of the time, that is.
Respawn Entertainment is promising a new spin on how they’ll make a more elegant weapon from a more civilised age feel hefty, dangerous and powerful, as lightsaber combat is clearly a priority for the studio in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
