Weekend box office report 3 - 5 January 2020: The year started like the previous one ended with Disney grabbing the headlines thanks to Star Wars and Frozen.

A bunch of stuff happened while we were busy stuffing our faces with Christmas pudding, so here are all the major movie trailer releases and news tidbits you may have missed while we took a break over the holidays!

It's pretty much only Star Wars this week, the other two releases are not exactly high profile. All the other films had the sense not to compete.

We have the first reactions to the rousing, epic finale to the Skywalker saga and the Star Wars films as we know it.

Fans may be getting more of Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron in the future, though any plans for another trilogy with these characters seems to be off the cards.

Much like this year’s Marshmello concert, players will be able to gather at Risky Reels drive-in to watch the scene in a moment of collective peace.
