Metro Exodus, the latest game in the Russian subway horror story caused a bit of a story when its Pc release was subject to a bit of exclusivity on Epic’s Game Store. The game will eventually be making its way through to Steam in February 2020, but it seems it might be headed for another PC storefront a little sooner than that.

Imagine you’re in a fantasy universe that has already fallen to dark forces. The apocalypse has come, given a once vibrant land a proper spanking with its armies of chaos and everybody is downright miserable. You’d think that kicking off a game with a band of misfits who are all nursing some serious trauma wouldn’t be the best way to introduce audiences to a dark new fantasy universe, but you’d be wrong. Trials of Fire is that game, and it’s a refreshing twist on the usual formula of knocking around dungeons and possibly encountering dragons.

A virtual version of M5 Industries will soon play host to a Mythbusters video game, which will have you testing many of the classic myths from the show and drawing your own scientific conclusions in the process. Like finding out if you can use salami as rocket fuel.

Epic launched its first great big store-wide sale yesterday in its attempt to lure over more users from Steam, but things haven’t gone as well as anybody had hoped. Initially, it all sounded pretty good! From yesterday until June 13, the Epic Games Store is offering big, store-wide discounts of up to 75% on select games, while games available for pre-order have a lovely $10 lopped off the top.

Akane always ends in violence, bloodshed and the death of the titular hero. It’s the journey towards that inevitable conclusion, that makes this retro-styled experience one of the finest examples of its genre as it deftly weaves a subtle strategy with some of the tightest action on the market today.

After years of waiting for someone to make a game that’s all about Finklin’ the Einhorn, one game is stepping up to the plate. And unlike me, they’re not being subtle about it. Say hello, to Wanking Simulator in this kind of safe for work trailer that blurs out the naughty bits, but still sounds like someone fisting a jar of mayonnaise as they run rampant.

In a series of tweets, Epic Boss Tim Sweeney said that the company would stop pursuing this sort of exclusivity deal if Steam would open its coffers up a little more.

Currently, Octopath Traveler is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, but come June 7 you can finally get your grubby keyboard and mouse mitts on it.
