In full circle news, Ghost of Tsushima is now set to get a feature film adaptation, with none other than John Wick's Chad Stahelski attached to direct. Sony officially confirmed the news on its blog, detailing that Uncharted movie producer PlayStation Productions will handle development duties on this big screen adaptation that Sucker Punch will also serve as executive producers on.

Called Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the free mode will allow two to four players to choose from one of four different character classes (Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, or Assassin) and tackle story missions together that increase in difficulty as you progress.

Patch 1.06 will enhance the Traveler’s Attire, adding new visual and audio cues whenever a collectible is nearby. Previously, donning this outfit would result in your controller rumbling harder than the purple lightsaber your mom keeps in her cupboard. The other big change is a larger font for text, because any true fan of Japanese-influenced media knows that it’s subs before dubs bro.

Ghost of Tsushima’s soundtrack isn’t just an amazingly moving collection of music, but it’s also one that is deeply rooted in the history of Tsushima and Japan. Moody and elegant, it’s also only one slice of culture that you’ll be exposed to in your journey across the vast island. With Mongolian invaders opposing you at every corner, it made sense to also highlight the culture of this warrior race from across the ocean, and composer Ilan Eshkeri wanted to keep that sound as authentic as possible.
