When I first saw the new XCOM at E3 in Los Angeles last year, I wasn’t entirely impressed. It looked OK but didn’t really grab me. Ages later, the game was shown off again but this time with massive changes made to just about everything… and it looked absolutely awesome.
Take Two have however, just announced that they have delayed it to fiscal 2013 from around March 2012… which means that it’s getting one heck of a delay, around a year at best if you didn’t realize.
Is this an early indication of an incoming cancellation? I sure hope not but this news is not really getting my hopes up.
