F— off! It's the first trailer for WAR ON EVERYONE!

War on Everyone movie

Did you watch Shane Black’s utterly brilliant The Nice Guys yet? Feel like having some more raucous R-rated buddy-cop fun? Well then allow Michael Pena and Alexander Skarsgard to oblige you with War On Everyone. The two popular actors star in the upcoming bit of cinematic debauchery from writer-director John Michael McDonagh, the man behind the fantastic The Guard and Calvary.

While the latter of those movies was a somber drama, the former already showed that McDonagh certainly has a flair for the buddy cop genre (it’s the most commercially successful independent Irish film of all time in its home country) and he’s making a return to it with this tale of two totally unhinged and corrupt cops up to no good.

It admittedly doesn’t look quite as polished or witty as The Nice Guys, but with Pena, Skarsgard and McDonagh on board, so am I! Check out the first trailer below.

Two corrupt cops in New Mexico set out to blackmail and frame every criminal unfortunate enough to cross their path. Things take a sinister turn, however, when they try to intimidate someone who is more dangerous than they are. Or is he?

War On Everyone also stars Theo James and Tessa Thompson. It’s scheduled for release in the UK on September 30. No confirmed international release date yet.
