Ryan Reynolds wants X-FORCE movie as PRIORITY!

Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool, Deadpool, is Ryan Reynolds, simple truths in this world that I am very happy about and at the moment if Reynolds wanted to be in the next Priscilla Queen of the Desert I’d say GO FOR IT! Yes, I am a huge fan after watching the gory, laugh/swear/wtf fest Deadpool! Don’t trust me? Then read Kev’s (and the TITular character himself) review the movie here! He certainly knew what he was doing when he donned the non-green suit, but then again he has been pushing for that honour since 2005 and he obviously meant it.

He is now looking at bringing X-Force to the big screen. Speaking with FILMSTARS the actor said his next mission was to bring this X-MEN focused world to reality and after he seemingly beat every obstacle to get Deadpool out of non-development hell and into our now-less-innocent world he may just do it. We have already seen a lot of the X-Men universe in the movie Deadpool, even if most of it was via insults, so the links are certainly there already. Reynolds commented:

There’s so much material to mine in just the X-Men universe… In the future, if we’re doing a bunch more Deadpool movies, we’re really going to explore the X-Men a lot. We’ll see. And maybe X-Force — X-Force is my priority. I really want to get that in.

Hi ‘priority’? Good luck stopping him Hollywood! I just pray that Fox doesn’t tone down the next movie. So who can we expect to see with our potty-mouthed hero? Well Reynolds has already hinted at that. When Deadpool was screened at a fan event in New York the actor took questions from surprised fans. One fan screamed out ‘Deadpool and Cable’ to which the actor replied:

Your lips to God’s ears, my friend. Believe me, that’s being talked about.

Sweet! I must say I know little to nothing about the character but apparently he is the son of Cyclops (Scott Summers) and Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey’s clone). Okay, yeah, that’s enough comic madness for me. Oh, you want more? Well he was sent to the future… Then returns to save the world from big bad Stryfe’s nefarious plans and while he’s at it also to prevent Apocalypse… So a standard X-Men weekend then. X-Force has also suffered at he hands of Hollywood developmental hell. Just two years ago Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass) announced he would pen a script and since then nothing. Let’s hope that the power of Reynolds will bring this to LIFE!
