This trailer for THE COLLECTION is going to make you wish you were dead

I am not a fan of torture porn movies. Not because I can’t stomach them (Hey, I sat through the entire Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Now that’s torture!) but rather I just don’t find them scary or engaging in the least. Gore for the sake of gore doth not a good movie make.

But judging from the fact that we now already have 7 Saw movies (yes, 7!), clearly some of you guys are getting your jollies from them. And now some of the “twisted minds” that brought you those films, are bringing you some more with The Collection.

When Elena’s (Emma Fitzpatrick) friends take her to a secret party at an undisclosed location, she never imagined she would become the latest victim of The Collector, a psychopathic killer. The Collector kidnaps and transports her to an abandoned hotel he’s transformed into his own private maze of torture and death. Upon learning of his daughter’s disappearance, Elena’s wealthy father (Christopher McDonald) hires a group of mercenaries to retrieve her from the vicious grips of The Collector. These mercenaries coerce Arkin (Josh Stewart), the only man to have escaped the wrath of this heinous monster, to lead them through the gruesome labyrinth. Now, Arkin finds himself fighting for his own life in order to save Elena.

Can somebody please explain to me where these psycho killers are finding the time, money and manpower to build these death traps? I can barely find the inclination to finish the bookshelves I started putting up last year, and this guy is turning an entire hotel into a giant Rube Goldberg machine complete with face-threshers in the ceilings? Now that’s some DIY skills!
