I love the Assassin’s Creed series, not because it has 2 ass’s in the name though that does help, but because of the gritty hand to hand nature of the series.
It’s all well and good destroying your enemies from afar in Gears of War or Call of Duty but nothing gives you the same satisfaction as plunging a dagger into the throat of your unsuspecting victim while spinning around to skewer another guard in the eye with your second concealed dagger.
Yes when it comes to violence and gore there are few games out there that can really compete with the Assassin’s Creed series and the only reason I feel we haven’t had mass complaints about this series is simply because the game itself is gorgeous. From the settings, to the graphics to the historical accuracy everything in the Assassin’s Creed games are picture perfect.
The latest title in the series releases next week and to start getting us excited Ubisoft have released the launch trailer which really doesn’t disappoint.
Oh and while we haven’t officially announced anything yet I strongly recommend hanging around as we may just be giving away a massive Assassin’s Creed Revelations hamper which will include the game, some clothing, awesome accessories and more.
