Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location will be out in October

In April, Scott Cawthon teased a new Five Nights at Freddy’s game, and a month later, he dropped the first trailer for it, along with a release date of “this Fall”. We haven’t really heard much about the game since then.

That’s all going to change soon I’m sure, as the highly anticipated horror title has just received a more concrete launch period. According to the game’s new Steam page, we can expect to see Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location sometime in October (via VG247).

Welcome to Circus Baby’s Pizza World, where family fun and interactivity go beyond anything you’ve seen at those *other* pizza places! With cutting-edge animatronic entertainers that will knock your kids’ socks off, as well as customized pizza catering, no party is complete without Circus Baby and the gang!

Now hiring: Late night technician. Must enjoy cramped spaces and be comfortable around active machinery. Not responsible for death or dismemberment.

Circus Baby’s Pizza World? Oh my – a whole new place with lots of lore to decipher! Must enjoy cramped spaces and be comfortable around active machinery? NO GOD PLEASE NO!

Anyhow, will Sister Location launch on the obvious date of Halloween? I somehow doubt it. This is Scott Cawthon we’re talking about, and we all know how he loves releasing his games willy nilly, as in, not ever on the days he has previously announced. For all we know, we could see his new title launched by the end of this month, or tomorrow for that matter!

I hope that doesn’t happen though. I still need plenty time to formulate a strategy to not be around when Sister Location launches. Shall I be incredibly ill for the next few months? Should I immigrate? Fake my own death perhaps? I haven’t quite decided yet. In the meantime, allow me to distract you with these five screenshots that already tell me I’m going to cry like a baby when I’m inevitably forced to review the game.
