Looks like another Final Fantasy remaster is headed to PlayStation 4

Final Fantasy 7? Puh-lease, who wants to be trolled with a PC port of that game onto the PlayStation 4? There are far better Final Fantasy games to port on over, instead of that over-hyped seventh instalment in the franchise. Unfortunately, the next game getting all tarted up doesn’t even rhyme with Shminal Shmantasy Date, and will instead be that one game from the series that has frightful daddy issues. Mon.

A Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster has been spotted in the wild, targeting the PlayStation 4. NeoGAF managed to get some screengrabs from the Square Enix Boutique, before the info was further confirmed by a Google Cache discovered by Gematsu. As you might imagine, the listing is no longer there.

It’s a bit of an odd choice. Final Fantasy X and X-2: Days Of Future Past, was already seen last year on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Having another port of the game, so close to the (sort of) remaster of Final Fantasy 7. It’s hard to believe, really it is. Square Enix is playing the safe game, commenting to VG247 that “We are looking into this matter and have no comment at this time.”

FF You must be joking

Well that answers everything. Now remaster Final Fantasy 8/Crisis Core already dammit.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
