MetroLL

If you were wondering whether or not Metro’s acquisition by Koch Media’s Deep silver label from the smoking ashes of THQ might lead to yet another delay, there’s some good news. The game has gone gold – so it’s ready to ship.

4A Games’ dark and atmospheric shooter – sequel to the rough gem Metro 2033 – is busy rolling off the presses, being packed in to boxes, and will make its May 14th US release date. It will be available locally on May 17 for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.

On that note, here’s the third chapter of the “Ranger” survival guide – showing you the game’s varied weapons and a bit of the inventory management systems. Preparation is key!

I’m actually pretty excited for Last Light. Metro 2033 was quite flawed and unpolished – but it was still a pretty engaging experience, capturing a great blend of that “survival horror” feeling, mixed with stealthy strategy and shoot-em-in-the-face FPS shenanigans.

Are you ready to enter the Metro?

I was not overly impressed…. TBH, the glitchy engine completely ruined the experience..

that being said, I will be giving the new game a fair chance..

Read the book first, and the game experience is even better. I played it, read the book, played it again. And the second time I played it was so much deeper, more intense than the first. Can’t wait for Metro 2034 (book) to be released in english. Online translations available, but they’re badly done.

Looking forward to this. Just hope the graphics engine is a little more refined and patched up.

I’m referring to the fact that when you put it on ultra in 1080 the game borks and lags even on todays hardest pc’s. Saw top end cards the other day all hit like low 20’s on ultra in 1080 simply coz the graphics engine was badly coded
